Is the electric snow shovel a Quebec or Canadian product?
Yes. The Garant 62 V electric snow shovel is a product developed inQuebec, by the Garant team located in Saint-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud.Design, engineering, field testing and quality standards are carried out righthere in Canada.
Like many electrical products on the market, manufacturing is doneinternationally, but according to our specifications, standards, andperformance and quality requirements.

They are already featured on our website so you can check out the full lineup, and availability links will be added as soon as inventory is in stores.

Where can I find the form to register the product?
You can register your electric snow shovel by filling out the formavailable at: https://www.garant.com/en/pages/register-your-product.
Can I use it in heavy or wet snow?
Yes.The electric snow shovel is designed to work efficiently in heavy or wet snow. For best results, it is recommended to move at a moderate speed. Rather thanpushing the tool straight out in front of you, use a back-and-forth motion, similar to vacuuming. This natural rhythm makes it easier to distribute effortand maintain control, especially in heavier snow.
Theeco mode is particularly suitable for heavy or compacted snow. By reducing thespeed of the motor, it maintains constant power without overloading the system. This mode consumes less power, maximizes efficiency and extends battery life. Thanks to its intelligent power management, it ensures stable and sustainedsnow removal, even when the snow is dense, wet or partially frozen.
Inthese conditions, the throwing distance may be slightly reduced due to theweight of the snow.
Can I use it on a gravel surface?
Yes,but only if the skid shoes are adjusted so that the auger does not touch the groundand does not suck up stones.
What is the difference between eco mode and sport mode?
Our electric snow shovel offers two operating modes designed to adapt todifferent winter conditions and optimize both performance and runtime.
Eco mode is the most frequently used mode. Designed for heavy orcompacted snow, it reduces engine speed up to 1,100 rpm to maintainconsistent power without overloading the system. This mode consumes lessenergy, maximizes efficiency and extends battery life, while ensuring stableand sustained snow clearing, even in the most demanding conditions. Itsintelligent power management allows you to work efficiently when the snow isdense or frozen.
The sport mode is particularly suitable for days with light orpowder snow. By increasing the engine speed to 1,475 rpm, it allows snowto be thrown farther and cover larger areas quickly. This mode is ideal after astorm or when the snow is fresh and easy to move. It offers a more dynamicperformance and maximum projection. Moreover, sport modeis the only mode that allows you to adjust the speed according to the pressureapplied to the trigger.
Tip: For optimal use, the eco mode can be kept asthe default setting, while the sport mode becomes advantageous when conditionsare favourable. This flexibility allows snow removal to be adapted to terrain conditionswhile getting the most out of the tool.
How to maintain the snow shovel?
The electric snow shovel requires very little maintenance. After eachuse, clean the snow shovel attachment to prevent the snow from freezing anddamaging the turbine when restarted. Always remove the battery before cleaningthe tool to avoid the risk of injury.
To ensure optimal performance, periodic lubrication of the gearbox maybe required. Here’s what you need to know:
What type oflubricant should I use?
Use a light greasedesigned for low temperatures (down to -25 °C or below). This type ofgrease remains fluid in the cold and allows the gears to function normally.
How often should Ilubricate?
We suggest checkingthe grease level about every 50 hours of use. For normal residential use, maintenance every 2 to 3 years is sufficient as long as no leaks arevisible. In case of very intensive use, annual lubrication may be recommended.
